WEBSITES FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES
Plenty of good local businesses are still running a website built before phones mattered. We rebuild yours properly, put it online, and send you the link. If it is not better than what you have, you have lost nothing.
The page was laid out for a desktop monitor. On a phone it arrives zoomed out, and the customer pinches, gives up, and calls somewhere else.
Wrong hours, an old menu, a price from four years ago — because nobody has been able to edit the site since whoever built it moved on.
Dead widgets, blocked scripts, feeds that stopped loading years ago. It rarely looks broken to the owner, because the owner is not the one on a phone at 6pm.
Most of your customers are on one. The site is designed for that screen and then scaled up, not the other way round.
Accurate, readable, and easy to find — with tap-to-call numbers and directions that open the map app.
If you already take orders through Slice, Toast, DoorDash or anyone else, we link to it and leave it alone. That is your revenue and we do not go near it.
On the same infrastructure we run our own products on. Handled, monitored, and included in the monthly.
New prices, new hours, seasonal photos. Email us — about two requests a month is the comfortable rhythm.
One build fee, then a flat monthly that covers hosting and edits. No setup fees, no contracts, no per-page pricing. Oregon does not charge sales tax on services, so the number you see is the number you pay.
Menu, hours, both locations, and a prominent Order Now button — everything on one scrollable page.
Multiple pages, every location in full, photo galleries, catering or services, contact. The usual choice.
You get the source files and host it yourself. No monthly, no relationship — the site is simply yours.
Hosting, your domain records, uptime, and edits — menu changes, hours, seasonal photos. Around two requests a month is the comfortable rhythm; we will tell you plainly if something is bigger than that rather than quietly not doing it.
Any of it can be quoted separately. We would rather say so up front than let you find out at the invoice.
Before we ever ask you for anything, we rebuild your site and put it online. You get a link to your own business, not a slide deck.
If it is not better than what you have, that is the end of it. You have spent nothing and you owe nothing.
We work in writing only, and it is a deliberate choice: a phone call leaves nothing either of us can go back to. Email or text means every request, price and date can be referenced if needed. This is where we check the menu is right, the hours are right, and sort out photos.
An invoice from Ciel Labs LLC for 50%. Card or bank transfer, whichever you prefer.
Stated in writing so nobody is guessing what is included.
You update your registrar or hand us the keys for ten minutes. The remaining 50% is invoiced, and the monthly starts.
Your domain stays yours the whole time. You registered it, you keep it, and it never moves into our name. All that changes is where it points.
You can cancel whenever you want. The site comes down and the domain is still yours — you never lost it. We would rather you leave easily than stay because leaving is a hassle.
We work in writing only — no phone calls. Email or text, whichever you prefer. It is deliberate: a call leaves nothing either of us can reference later, and a message does. Every request we act on — menu changes, prices, launch dates, revisions — stays on record for both of us. That protects you as much as it protects us, and it is the same reason the two rounds of revisions are stated in writing.
On the two monthly tiers, we keep the files. Hosting and upkeep are what the monthly pays for, so the site lives with us. If you would rather own it outright and host it yourself, that is the $3,000 tier and there is no monthly at all.
We will not rebuild your ordering. If orders already come through Slice, Toast, Square or a delivery app, that system keeps working exactly as it does today and we link to it. Rebuilding the thing that takes your money is how a redesign costs a restaurant a weekend of sales.
No meeting, no discovery call, no proposal document. Tell us the business and we will build a version of the site and send you a link to it.
